What we offer

Doors, drives and accessories

Made-to-measure doors - from a single garage to a production hall - together with automation and hardware. Measuring and installation are done by our authorised partners.

A door is a twenty-year purchase

So what counts is not only the price on the day, but how often you call for service over the next two decades.

  • An experienced team

Doors are specified by people who have done it for years, and measured and installed by our authorised partners.

  • Proven components

Springs, tracks and fittings from suppliers we have worked with for years. No savings on the parts that decide how long a door lasts.

  • Certified safety

Constructions meet European standards and carry the CE mark. Anti-drop and anti-crush protection come as standard.

  • Made to measure

The door is built for your opening, not for the nearest size in a catalogue. No adjustments or improvising on site.

  • A flexible approach

An unusual size, a colour outside the palette, a non-standard fixing - we talk through every case instead of pointing at a price list.

How we work

Four stages. You configure and price the door with us, and an authorised partner near you comes to the site - they take the measurements and, once the door is made, install it.

stages, each with a defined scope

From the first call to a finished door

  1. Talk and quote

You give us the size of the opening and how the door will be used. We choose the type, panel and drive, then send you a quote.

  2. A partner near you

We put you in touch with an authorised partner who comes to the site and measures the opening, the lintel and the room for the tracks.

  3. Made to measure

The door is built for your opening, in the colour and finish you picked. We do not fit the nearest catalogue size.

  4. Installation by the partner

The partner installs the door, commissions the drive and shows you how to use it. You get the documentation and warranty terms.

We agree the quote and the lead time individually, once we know the size of the opening.

Garage and industrial doors made to measure

A door is the heaviest moving part of a building and the only one that will run several times a day for the next fifteen years.

The GROTO range covers sectional, roller and side-hinged garage doors and industrial doors for halls and warehouses. Automation comes with it: rail drives for garage doors, shaft drives for industrial ones and actuators for entrance gates, together with remotes, photocells and signalling. All from a single manufacturer, so finishes can be matched and responsibility is not split between three contractors.

Every construction is built for one specific opening. That is not a marketing line but a consequence of how openings in buildings actually look: after plastering they rarely match the drawings, and in existing buildings they are often out of square. A stock size would require the building to adapt to the door - packing out, chasing, or hiding the difference behind a trim. Here it works the other way round: the construction is designed around what is in the wall.

The choice starts with the building, not the model. A sectional door lifts under the ceiling and needs room above the opening, a roller door winds onto a shaft and suits a low lintel, a side-hinged door swings outwards and takes nothing from the ceiling. A 40 mm panel is enough in an unheated garage; 60 mm makes sense when the garage is heated or sits inside the body of the house. The drive is matched to the weight of the leaf and the number of daily openings, not to a catalogue average.

Where to start

Measure the opening in the wall
Width, height and lintel. Those three numbers are enough to narrow the choice to two or three constructions.
Check what is under the ceiling
Sectional door tracks need clear space. Services above the opening change which construction fits.
Decide whether the garage is heated
That settles the panel thickness. In a heated garage a thinner panel gives away heat you will not notice at once.
Count the daily openings
The drive and the springs follow from it. A door opened five times and one opened a hundred times are different constructions.
